What kind of dog is Zilly?
Zilly is a multi-generational Australian labradoodle. That’s a mix between a Labrador retriever and a poodle. Labradoodles are known to be hypoallergenic, friendly, energetic and good with families and children. That’s a pretty accurate description of Zilly, don’t you think?
What’s Zilly’s favorite toy?
A soft, pink dragon she often carries with her to meetings or uses to encourage Inn residents to play with her. Zilly loves playing fetch!
Where does Zilly spend nights and weekends?
Like any other Inn staff member, Zilly spends working days at The Inn. In the evenings, she goes home with Inn staff to get rest. She is also off on weekends and holidays, enjoying these special days with Inn staff and playing with their four-legged companions.
What kind of treats does Zilly like?
Due to her sensitive stomach, Zilly has to be careful about the things she eats and is kept on a special diet that includes special treats. But like most of us, Zilly really enjoys snacking, and she sometimes cannot help herself but indulge in “snacks” she finds on the floor or can access on tables, counters or in trashcans (even a therapy dog certification only goes so far). We try to do everything possible to keep Zilly healthy and appreciate your help in keeping “snacks” away from Zilly’s reach so she doesn’t get a tummy ache.
