The Children’s Inn at NIH relies on the help of nearly 200 dedicated volunteers working regular shifts and hundreds of additional volunteers on an as-needed basis to serve children and families from around the world as they participate in groundbreaking research studies at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

From greeting our guests with a friendly “hello” at the welcome desk to keeping the kitchens organized and well-stocked or hosting a fun activity in the evenings, our volunteers are truly the heart of our organization.
