A new twist on an old favorite: join us for a fun night of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dancing with The Capital Effect band! Wear your best après-ski* attire and grab your friends in support of The Children’s Inn at NIH. All proceeds will help raise critical funds needed to operate The Children’s Inn at NIH.

FAQs

What time is the event? Snowed Inn will run from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Will I receive a ticket? No physical ticket is needed. Your name will be at registration. Please check in and receive your special ski tag indicating you are a Snowed Inn guest. If you haven’t already, please email if you purchased a couple’s or group ticket to provide each attendee’s information (name, email, and cell phone number) prior to the event.
Where can I park? Pike & Rose offers three convenient garages.

Will there be bowling? No. We will have BocceBall inside and outside, as well as a fun Wine Toss game and Raffle.
Will there be assigned tables? No. This is an informal event with open seating between small tables and high tops and benches throughout the event.
What should I wear? This is a fun, casual event with an Après Ski theme. What does that mean?! Technically, the term describes what you might wear to a party or gathering after coming off the slopes. Think ski lodge vibes!
Will there be a coat check? Yes. We encourage guests to use the coat check so that seating can remain open and fluid.
How much is Wine Toss? Our Wine Toss game is 3 rings for $20. All funds raised benefit The Children’s Inn. If you ring a bottle, you get to take home a bottle of white or red wine! You can pick up your prize at check-out if you are a winner. No winning bottles may be consumed on-site.
How much are Raffle Tickets? Raffle tickets are one ticket for $25 or three for $50. All funds raised benefit The Children’s Inn.
Will non-alcoholic drinks be available? Yes. We will also serve soda, water, coffee, and tea.
Will there be dinner? No. Pinstripes will serve hors d’oeuvres and dessert options.
Where do I go when I arrive at Pinstripes? Please head upstairs, accessible via steps or elevator, to the second level and look for our registration table. Snowed Inn will be held in the ballroom.

Après-ski attire:

Après-ski is a French term that translates literally to “after ski” or “after skiing.” The phrase was popular in the Alps during the 1950s rise of commercial skiing, and today, après-ski is an umbrella term for popular post-ski activities. So, in other words, casual, not fancy, but put your own spin on your fun winter attire!
