The Inn Celebrates National Healthcare Hospitality Week

The Inn celebrates National Healthcare Hospitality Week, July 15-19, with several events thanking support staff and NIH clinicians. As a member of the National Healthcare Hospitality Network, The Inn recognizes the essential support services provided by so many individuals to each family when they stay at The Inn and receive care at NIH. This week each day provided a new opportunity to thank those who truly make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Mon., July 15 Pep Rally & Candy Grams

The Inn joined the Healthcare Hospitality Network (HHN) for a virtual pep rally at noon to kick off the week. Each house or facility gathered team members to support the kick-off.

The families were provided materials to make candygrams with heartfelt notes for their medical team members as a thank-you for their support. This included doctors, research nurses, social workers, patient coordinators, and any NIH Clinical Center team members.

Tues., July 16 Tours

Inn staff offered tours to NIH Clinical Center medical teams on Tuesday. It was a chance to catch a glimpse of life inside The Inn.

It’s an amazing week to help highlight everyone who makes The Children’s Inn a place like home for our families.”
