The Children’s Inn at NIH Reaches GuideStar Exchange’s Top Rating

BETHESDA, Maryland (October 9, 2014) – The Children’s Inn at NIH received the GuideStar Exchange Gold designation, a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc., a source of nonprofit information.

The GuideStar Exchange is an initiative designed to connect nonprofits with current and potential supporters. With millions of people using GuideStar to learn more about nonprofit organizations, The GuideStar Exchange enables nonprofits to share up-to-date information with GuideStar’s many audiences. The GuideStar Exchange level logos, acknowledged as symbols of transparency in the nonprofit sector, are displayed on all Exchange participants’ nonprofit reports.

The Children’s Inn is a home for families whose children are undergoing treatment at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The Inn is a safe haven between treatments and hospitalizations, where families can stay together, support each other, and have a sense of normalcy.
