The Children’s Inn at NIH Appoints Daniel L. Weaver, CPA to its Board of Directors
BETHESDA, Maryland (March 14, 2016) – The Children’s Inn at NIH announces that Daniel L. Weaver, CPA, Vice President, with Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, P.C. (CBM) has joined its Board of Directors.
Dan is the Chairman of the Not-for-Profit Service Group at CBM. His years of experience include audits, reviews, tax preparation, and research and planning services, primarily in the not-for-profit industry.
Dan has significant experience with the specialized reports on compliance and internal controls required by OMB Circular A-133. He is the lead speaker and moderator of CBM’s Not-for-Profit Roundtables, a series of events featuring two to three roundtables per year related to hot topics in the Not-for-Profit industry.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bucknell University and is a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Instructor. He lives in Silver Spring, MD with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children.
The Children’s Inn at NIH is a private, nonprofit “Place Like Home” for children and their families participating in pediatric research at the Clinical Center of the world-renowned National Institutes of Health. The Inn reduces the burden of illness through therapeutic, educational and recreational programming – all at no cost to the families. Since opening in 1990, nearly 12,000 families from across the world have considered The Inn their home.
