7th Annual Golf INNvitational to Benefit The Children’s Inn at NIH

Enjoy a spectacular game of golf while supporting The Children’s Inn at NIH. The Children’s Inn Golf INNvitational will be held at Lakewood Country Club on Monday, June 2nd. Participants will spend a special day on a championship golf course followed by an exciting evening of food, drinks and prizes.

All proceeds from the INNvitational help to provide a free “place like home” for seriously ill children who are receiving groundbreaking medical treatment at the National Institutes of Health. Last year’s tournament raised nearly $100,000 to support The Inn.

Golfers will enjoy an exciting, challenging tournament played on a Rees Jones- designed championship course. The day begins with a celebratory lunch at the club, followed by a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start. This year, a new format will offer a single evening reception with cocktails, live and silent auctions, dinner and awards.

The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “place like home” for up to 59 seriously ill children and their families who stay together while participating in groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world’s leading biomedical research center. While the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit. Families stay at The Inn free of charge, no matter how long.
