Giant Food Donates $30K to the Children’s Inn at NIH

The Children's Inn at NIH is a residential 'Place Like Home' for seriously ill children and their families.

On September 27, Giant presented a $30,000 donation to The Children’s Inn at NIH through support of vendor partners Procter & Gamble and Newman’s Own Foundation. The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential facility for families with children participating in leading-edge research studies at the National Institutes of Health. Since opening in 1990, nearly 12,000 children have come from all 50 states and 86 countries to stay together with their families at no cost, in The Inn’s supportive environment.

The Children’s Inn at NIH is a residential “Place Like Home” for seriously ill children and their families who stay together while participating in groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH. Families travel from across the country and around the world to take part in clinical trials at the world’s leading biomedical research center.
