Fun & Learning
We know that being away from your home, family, and friends can be tough, so we do all that we can to make The Inn “A Place Like Home.” Our programming team makes every effort to support the diverse needs of the entire family by offering recreational, therapeutic, educational and spiritual programming. Through a variety of programs, such as tutoring, art and music classes, and organized outings to museums and monuments around the Washington, DC area, The Inn strives to let kids be kids in a fun, supportive and safe environment.
The Inn’s family programs provide a time for your family to relax and enjoy the afternoon and evening together. All programs and activities are free for residents (patients and family members) and led by Inn program staff, Fun Team volunteers, and professional instructors. To see what’s going on during your stay, view the Activities Calendar.
Additionally, check out this season’s issue of The Star, The Inn’s family newsletter.
